In Celebration of

John 'Jack' Gavin O'Toole

April 11, 1994 -  February 18, 2018

Jack, our gentle giant, passed away suddenly early Sunday morning, February 18th, 2018. He was just 23 years old.

We are devastated by his passing but lifted by the memory of his many fine qualities.

Jack was loyal to his friends and family. He was a protector to those who needed help, and was kind and generous to anyone who was lucky enough to know him. From the very beginning of his short but meaningful life, he was good natured and was always thinking of others. Jack was always open to new people and new experiences. He was a thoughtful, loving partner, a good brother and a wonderful son. Jack was a good friend, a team player, and a sportsman, with a great love of life. He was a beautiful person, with a big heart, but sadly that heart of his failed him Sunday morning. Remember him in your good deeds, and your acts of kindness to others. Jack leaves behind the love of his life, Anisah, his sisters Shannon (Harrison), and Meghan (James), and parents Gloria and Pat, along with his many friends and relatives. He was loved and will be missed by many.

In lieu of flowers, please send charitable donations to The Heart and Stroke Foundation. Please join us in saying goodbye at the Turner & Porter Butler Chapel, 4933 Dundas St. W., between Islington and Kipling Aves., on Friday February 23rd from 6:00pm to 9:00pm. A mass will be held in Jack’s honor on Saturday, February 24th, 2018, at Nativity of Our Lord Church, 480 Rathburn Rd. W., Etobicoke, at 10:00am, after which a reception will be held at the church to celebrate his life, and to mourn the loss of our friend. Online condolences may be made through www.turnerporter.ca.
