You were the greatest husband and father in the world. You were my best friend, my biggest support, my saviour ... you were my hero, dad. Life will never be the same without you ... I will love you forever and think of you each minute of every day. You were our strength, our rock and you always kept us moving forward. I just cannot believe you are gone and now I have to live the rest of my life without you and mom. I love you so much dad. I hope you are with mom now as you belong togehter.
Dear Janice, John and families, please accept my deepest sympathy for the loss of your beloved dad and grandfather. Dear Mom, Aunt Barb and Aunt Susie, I’m so sorry for the loss of your Big Brother.
Uncle Johnny was so kind, genuine and loving. I have so many fond memories of him. When I was young, he sometimes called me ‘Sasundini’ so I thought that was my ‘Italian name’ and I would proudly tell all of my friends that my Uncle was teaching me how to speak Italian!
Family get togethers were always something to look forward to for many reasons, but maybe the most exciting part was knowing there would be a big pot of Uncle Johnny’s meatballs simmering away and filling the house with that wonderful aroma - and they were as good as Grandpa’s :)
I will love and miss him forever ❤️

Dear Janice and John and the Dortona Family,
My deepest condolences to you all. This is such a sad time to say goodbye to your dear Dad. This has been a heartbreaking year.
I have such wonderful memories of sitting in your parents kitchen and talking for hours.
They always made me feel so welcome, as Linda and I became special friends.
My Dad, Paul Sciberras lived with The Dortona family when he immigrated from Malta....Dad felt so welcomed and John was like a brother to my Dad.
I remember hearing many stories of how they teased my Dad- being new to Canada!
You have a beautiful and kind family.
Wishing you much PEACE in your heart- knowing you had the best parents and may they be reunited again.
With much Love,
Rosemarie Schoutsen ( Sciberras )
My deepest condolences to Johnny's family and friends
Love and God Bless
