John and Ann were friends with my parents long before I came into the world so I can say I have known John and Ann all my life! There are so many memories of Slovak dancing, singing, swimming parties, story telling, pictures, Baba visiting and the list goes on. Most recent was a visit to John and Ann's home in July 2016. John met us, my brother Allan and husband Bruce, standing at the door waiting for a hug and to welcome us. We valued that visit then and still as we knew not when we would be able to return. I loved John as an uncle, he was a gracious man, always interested in what we do and where we go. We will miss him. My thoughts and love out to Ann, Richard and Jim.
With love, Karen and Bruce
To the Complak Family,
Words cannot express how our hearts ache for you. This is a painful loss no matter at what age or stage. May you all be carried and protected through these most trying times by powers larger than us all. Keep breathing, keep hugging each other. Lots of love from afar.
Xoxo

I grew up in Weston at the home of my father and mother, Michael and Julia Galajda, who were long time close friends with John and Anne Complak. We would visit each other regularly and enjoyed each others company. As children, my sister Karen, and brother Allan would play with Richard and James while our parents had their time together. I remember John Complak as a kind and gentle man who loved gypsy music. My Dad had a record that he would play for John, paying homage to our Slovak family roots. He will be missed but not forgotten. Larry
Jim & Mary Anne and family ,
Please accept our condolences on the loss of your father, grandfather. Keeping you in our thoughts and prayers
Annie, and the Brozina daughters (Barbra and Errol; Lillian and Adi), send our sincerest condolences to Ann and family.
The winter weather has made it too hard for our Mother to get out and about, and I (Barbra) have out-of-town guests staying over the Holidays. Such circumstances regretfully prevent us from expressing our sympathies in person.
Mr. Complak and myself (Barbra) danced often at many weddings and anniversaries during my teens and early twenties. I will fondly remember him for fun conversations, shared laughter, his kindness and for the warm smiles we all shared during those celebrative occasions in the early years.
You are in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
