March 15, 1964 - February 16, 2019

Passed away peacefully at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital, Oakville on Saturday, February 16, 2019 at the age of 54. Dear husband of Julie Clarke and much loved father of Emily Grace. Loving son of John and Muriel Strba, and brother of Joe (Liliane), Melinda, Kimberly (Steve Hall), Beverley (Marc Kaiser), Valerie (the late Randy Barnes); and brother-in-law of Susan Clarke (Martin O’Brien) and Mary Clarke (Paul Farrar). John will be fondly remembered by his 14 nieces and nephews and his best dog-friend, Beaubly.

Visitation will be held at the Turner & Porter “Peel” Chapel, 2180 Hurontario St., Mississauga (Hwy 10, N. of QEW) on Wednesday from 4 – 8 p.m. Funeral Service to be held at Harvest Bible Chapel Oakville, 500 Great Lakes Blvd., Oakville on Thursday, February 21, 2019 at 11 a.m. Private interment Evergreen Cemetery, Milton.

In John’s memory, memorial donations may be made to World Vision, or to a Missions charity of your choice.

My most sincere condolences to Julie, Emily and the rest of the family. I have fond memories of John during our time at University and remember visiting him during his first illness. He was kind, compassionate and thoughtful even as he suffered through aggressive treatments. We spoke in great lengths about the lessons being provided to us all. His deep faith was a source of immeasurable comfort as was the love and support of his family & friends. May the memories of a wonderful person provide joy in the days and years to come.
