Johanna Catharina Dekker

March 8, 1931 -  July 19, 2022

Passed away at Walden Circle Retirement Residence on Tuesday, July 19, 2022, at the age of 91. Beloved wife of Johannes “John” for almost 70 years. Cherished mother of Ronald (Susan Evans), Michael (Trudy Grigg), Robert (Elizabeth Sampson), Richard (Jolanka Timp), and Ingrid Myra (Percy). Proud grandmother of Ashley, Emma, Nicholas, Bradley, Zakary, Keije, Jay, Justus, Cody, and Jonathan, and great-grandmother to Ella.

Friends may call at the Turner & Porter ‘Neweduk’ Chapel, 1981 Dundas Street West, Mississauga, on Thursday, August 4, 2022, from 5-8 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at Clarkson Road Presbyterian Church, 1388 Clarkson Road North, Mississauga, on Friday, August 5, 2022, at 11 a.m. Private interment at Springcreek Cemetery. For those who wish, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or Clarkson Road Presbyterian Church.

To my friend John and his family -- I'm so sorry about Joanne's passing. I enjoyed a wonderful friendship with Joanne and John. For a few years we lived in the same condo and shared many of the social activities together, as well as having long-standing family and "old friend" ties. Our times together are precious memories. I wish the entire Dekker family my love and condolences.
