Jose "Joe" Pinto, born on September 12, 1958, in Funchal, Madeira, Portugal, to his loving late parents Ramiro Pinto and Lidia Sousa, passed away on February 4, 2025, after a courageous battle with lymphoma cancer.

Joe was known for his warmth, kindness, and unwavering dedication to his family and friends. He leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and cherished memories that will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him. He will be remembered for his incredible sense of humour, his passion for life, and his ability to bring joy to everyone around him. Joe was not only a loving son but also a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother.

To honour Joe's memory, the family kindly requests that you share a favourite story or memory of Joe with loved ones. Your memories will help keep his spirit alive and remind us all of the extraordinary person he was.

Joe will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his wife, Dilia; his children, Steven (wife - Aleksandra), Samantha (husband - Mark), and Sarah (wife - Kristin); his grandchildren, Olivia, Ava, Marcus, and Noah; his siblings, Albert, Ramiro, Almerinda, Jaime, Lisa, the late Noelia and their families; many nieces and nephews; and so many more friends and family members.

When I met Joe he made me feel so welcome to the family to speak with me in Spanish. I will always remember him for his warm smile and kindness. Joe you will be missed by your family and friends.

Have known Joe and his family since they first moved into their home on Aberfoyle Court. Our daughter Jamie grew up with Joe’s daughters Sarah and Samantha and they became best friends. Joe always had a smile and positive outlook on life. He was a fantastic father and did everything for his family. He was a very special person.
