In Celebration of
Joe Eugenio
January 3, 1955 -
January 26, 2020
Joe Eugenio, 65, passed away on Sunday, January 26, 2020 peacefully in his home surrounded by his family.
Joe leaves behind his loving wife of 43 years, Maria Louisa Eugenio, his daughter, Sandra (Neil), son, Christopher (Lisa), his grandchildren, Isabella and Joseph and his brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews. Joe was predeceased by his grandsons, Colton and Joshua. Joe was the ultimate family man, a loving husband, amazing father, proudest grandfather and friend to everyone. Joe was the proudest of his family and his love for them was fierce.
Joe worked hard and loved his career as an aircraft engineer/inspector. His job took him to many interesting places and he loved sharing stories of his experiences. Joe loved sports. At one time playing both hockey and baseball and later on coaching his son. Joe was a diehard Toronto Maple Leafs fan but his favourite players never donned the blue and white, he was Christopher and Isabella's (and soon to be hockey player baby Joseph) biggest supporter. Joe loved road trips with Louise and yearly vacations to Florida with the whole family. Joe never missed a chance to lend a helping hand to friends and family. He took pride in his home and teaching his kids and son-in-law everything he knew about electrical, plumbing, gardening, cars, etc. Joe enjoyed Sunday afternoon Nascar races, watching movies or reading the paper in his backyard. Joe has a left a void that will never be filled.
The family would like to thank all the personal support workers and nurses who helped care for Joe over the last few years.
Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. at Turner & Porter - Neweduk Chapel on Thursday, January 30, 2020.
