Jocelyn Paris, also known as Margaret Cream, was born in Sarnia, Ontario, on September 4, 1964 and passed away on February 14, 2026.

She is survived by her sister, Evelyn Cream; her aunt Joyce; and her cousins Steven, Michael, and Wayne. She was predeceased by her parents, Carol Beaven and Robert Cream.

Jocelyn pursued her lifelong love of language, history, and politics through her studies in English at the University of Toronto and later earned a Master’s degree in Medieval Studies from the University of Bristol. She went on to build a career as a copywriter with Wunderman Thompson, where she applied her sharp intellect and gift for language professionally.

An avid reader, Jocelyn had a deep appreciation for novels, poetry, and political writing. She was also a film buff and enjoyed thoughtful cinema.

Cremation will take place, and in accordance with her wishes, no service will be held.
