In Celebration of

Joanna Filipczyk

February 14, 1924 -  June 11, 2018

“Arise, make haste, My love, My dove, My beautiful one and come…”

Survived by her brother Pawel and many friends. Joanna emigrated to Canada from Poland to care for the Oblate Fathers. She spent her entire life in prayerful service to others, offering many Holy masses for them. Now let us remember her with a fragrant bouquet of Holy masses for the repose of her soul.
Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor St. W. (East of the Jane subway) on Friday, June 15, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral mass will be held at St. Casimir’s Roman Catholic Church, 156 Roncesvalles Ave. on Saturday, June 16, 2018 at 10 a.m. meeting directly at church. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. Many thanks to the fine staff of Copernicus Lodge for their tender care of Pani Filipczyk in her final years. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Copernicus Lodge Foundation.

Praise Jesus for the gift of this beautiful soul… Amen!
