I was very sad to hear of the passing of Mrs. Carruthers a few days ago. I have fond memories of her warm smile and welcoming demeanor every time I visited the Carruthers house back when we all lived in our home village of Erindale. She was very kind indeed. Then, many years later, I saw her at her new apartment. She was dressed in floral colours, was full of smiles and we all had a lovely conversation. I learned about her love of golf and other activities. That was my last visit with Joan and it is a warm and lasting memory. Thinking of you Joan, Kevin and Karen.

So very sorry that the last years were so difficult for her and all of you.
I will remember with joy our many laughs and private giggles at family functions.

The heavens have claimed her and now she will truly dance!
