Jim Hoare

August 18, 1944 -  February 13, 2026

“Jim” passed away peacefully at home on Friday Feb 13th.

Loving husband of Sharron (nee Casey), father of Sean and Ines, grandpa of Kate and Julia.

He will forever live in our hearts.

Family and friends are welcome to attend visitations held on Thursday February 19 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm. 2180 Hurontario Street, Mississauga.

Funeral will be held on Friday February 20 at 1pm, with reception to follow at Sts. Martha and Mary Parish, 1870 Burnhamthorpe Rd East, Mississauga.

I remember Jim the first day he came to work at Ontario Hydro, He and I were friends at hydro for many years. Since we retired we lost contact but always remembered when thinking back of our working days. My condolences to his Family.

Jim and I worked together on the Lennox/Wesleyville project in the 70's at Hydro. He was one of the good guys and we had some great conversations. My condelences to his family.

Jim and I attended Danforth Technical School together and became friends in grade 10 Machine Design Drafting. Lots of adventures together. We lost contact when I moved to Calgary. Jim and his family were always warm and welcoming.
