In Celebration of

Jim Gaul

March 22, 1944 -  September 27, 2019

It is with great sadness that the family announces the peaceful passing of Jim at his home on Friday, September 27, 2019 at the age of 75. He was the beloved husband of Frances for 41 years, and loving dad of Sarah and Kevin. Jim was predeceased by his parents Patrick and Catherine, as well as his siblings William, Thomas, Kevin, Brendan, Sean, and Kathleen. He is survived by his sister Angela, who still lives in the Irish town of Wexford, where Jim was born. Jim will be dearly missed by his many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. His family really appreciates the exceptional care that he received from the staff at The Toronto General Hospital for over 20 years, and the support of the Home and Community Care staff at his home during his final week. Frances, Sarah, and Kevin are forever grateful for all of the love and support that they have received from their family and friends over the years.
Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor St. W., at Windermere, East of the Jane Subway, on Monday September 30, from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Prayers at 7pm. Funeral Mass to be held at St. Cecilia’s Catholic Church on Tuesday, October 1, 2019 at 11am. Private cremation to follow. For those who wish, donations may be made to Peter Munk Cardiac Centre.

I knew Jimmy for several years. He always had a smile on his face, and a joke to tell...what a great sense of humor! Really a pleasure to be around, and I consider myself fortunate to have known him. He will be missed, but never forgotten. Rest in peace, Jimmy.

Hi Frances,
It is Anne Gallagher here.
I was driving by St. Cecilia's Church this morning and saw you among others in front of the church. Upon searching obituaries I found that Jim passed away.
