The Story
Our father, Jerome D’Silva, played a very large part in our lives. His life revolved around family and friends. From his humble childhood in Pridi House to his enormous success as a major developer financier in Karachi, his family meant more to him than anything else. He left Pakistan and gave up everything he created to start a new life in Canada for the safety and security of his wife and children. Success, to him, was defined by the strength of family bonds. He impacted many lives in different ways. Many of the condolences received have reflected on the way Jerome touched their lives. Jerome often shared his personal stories with whomever he met and it allowed others to relate to a man who was generous of heart and spirit. He was a warm-hearted and principled man. He was a devoted husband, loving father, nurturing friend and community advocate. Jerome is missed so dearly but his legacy is the impact he has made on all of us. We pay tribute to a man who put others before himself. To our loving father Jerome D’Silva.
