August 21, 1939 - March 27, 2018

Wife to Joseph, mother to Michael and Stephen, beloved grandmother to Maximilian, Rosalind & Josephine and sister to Peter. Jennie was a graduate of Pharmacy at U of T and a longtime member of The Business and Professional Women’s Club. After a determined battle with cancer, Jennie passed peacefully, with family close, on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at the age of 78. Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor St. W., at Windermere, east of the Jane Subway, on Monday, April 2, 2018 from 2-4 & 6-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at 11 a.m. Interment Park Lawn Cemetery.

Words can not express the sorrow I feel at losing my mother-in-law and every time I look at my children, my heart breaks at their losing their Grandma. She was so strong and fought so hard we often thought her invincible. That's why even though she was ill, this is still such a shock to us all. She was always there for us and holidays will never be the same again without her wonderful dinners. She kept traditions alive and brought us together as a family. She will be missed, but never forgotten.
