Peacefully on Saturday, March 24, 2018, surrounded by her family at Cawthra Gardens LTC in her 89th year. Beloved wife of the late Leonard Catania. Cherished mother of David (Diana), Neil (Laurie), Marianne (Terry) Kennedy, the late Louise, Catherine (Mike) Fitzgerald. Grammie was proud of her 11 grandchildren: Ashley, Amanda (Matt) Taylor, Shantel, Stephanie (Marc), Karl, Mark, John, Amy, Kevin, Sara, Stephen and her 2 great- grandchildren Christian and Leddy. Dear sister of John, MaryAnne Kelly and Patricia FitzPatrick. Mom’s sweet and loving disposition and her playful sense of humour have given us a wealth of warm and happy memories. We are grateful for the attentive care mom received by the staff at Cawthra Gardens.

Visitation at the Turner & Porter "Peel" Chapel, 2180 Hurontario St., Mississauga (Hwy. 10, N. of QEW) on Tuesday, March 27 from 2-4pm & 6-9pm. Funeral service will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday, March 28, at 11 a.m. Interment St. Mary’s Cemetery.

As an expression of sympathy donations to CAMH will be appreciated.

There's no one anywhere quite as special like our Mothers - truly our very best friend.. she has gone now to her reward but has left you with many many good memories...I will remember her fondly.
