In Celebration of

Jean Marie Adams

March 16, 1942 -  August 12, 2024

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our sister, sister-in-law, and aunt, Jean Marie Adams of Toronto, ON.

Jean was a daughter of the late Robert and Annie (Snell) Tracey of Mount William Road, New Glasgow, N.S. She was born in New Glasgow in the year 1942.

Jean will be remembered for her love of animals, especially dogs; (Peanut and Tucky), for her love of going to church bazars to find deals, and for her love of being outdoors and walking by the lake.

She is survived by 6 sisters, Roberta MacLellan, Margaret Tracey (Bruce), Faye Wouters, Dorothy MacAulay, Shirley Cox, and Cindy MacKenzie; brother Mike Tracey (Leona), brother-in-law David "Sonny" Dean, and sister-in-law Marlene Tracey; 13 nieces and nephews; and several grand nieces and grand nephews.

Along with her parents, she is predeceased by her sister, Linda Dean; brother Robert "Tang" Tracey; brother-in-laws, Wally Wouters and Bob Cox; and her nephew, Terry Tracey.

She was a beautiful soul and we loved her dearly. We ask God to send some of his angels down to earth to accompany Jean to heaven where she can stay forever with God and his angels.

Please pray for Jean.

Jean touched the life of everyone she encountered. Her kindness, humour, unconditional love, and the sound of her laughter will live in our hearts forever. You were such an important part of my life, Jean. You were not only the best aunt I could of ever asked for, but a best friend to me as well. You were also the most loving sister and best friend to my mother and I want to thank you so very much for that. You are at peace now and hopefully playing ball and eating pizza and unlimited cake slices with Peanut and Tucky up in heaven. I love you Jean. You will never be forgotten and will be forever truly missed.

I love you, Jean. You were an amazing sister, so kind and always helpful in every way, especially while I was growing up. You are in my thoughts and prayers every day.

Jean was well loved by my friend Kim, her mother Roberta and the entire family. Kim and Roberta spoke highly of Jean and although I have met her only once, she exuded radiance and a sense of humour that I never forgot. My condolences to Kim, Roberta and her family. May your fond memories of Jean illuminate in your hearts forever.

Love,

Melissa

I am so sad to hear about Jean's passing. She was such a sweet gentle soul with a great laugh and smile. I will always remember how much joy she had with spending time with her family, especially her sister Roberta. She was always amused interacting with her niece's (Kim) dogs, Peanut and Tucky and she enjoyed going for her walks in nature. I will miss Jean and fondly remember our visits chatting, drinking coffee and sometimes laughing over a T.V show.
I am praying for Jean, and I am sure she is at peace in heaven with God.
I offer my deepest condolences to Jean's family.
