In Celebration of

Janina Jarmuszewski

March 5, 1925 -  July 8, 2018

It is with very heavy hearts that we announce the sad passing of our beloved mother, Janina, at the age of 93. She was born in Poland, married in Scotland and moved to Toronto, Canada, where she raised her three children. She was a wonderful and loving mother to Richard, Henry and Halina “Helen”. She was an adoring grandmother to her two beloved grandchildren, Jason Logrippo (Katie) and Jaclyn Bellicoso (Gino). Janina was predeceased by her parents Konstanty Jarza (1939) and Florence Jarza (1978), her husband Antoni (2000), and her sisters Hela (2004) and Genevieve (2013). She leaves behind a step-brother Antos (New Zealand), brother-in-law Eddie Majcher (California), nephews Tom and Richard Majcher (California), and niece Diane Majcher (Louisville, Kentucky). She also leaves behind Zoey, her loving and faithful dog that brought her so much joy. Mom lived and died with Alzheimers the last five years of her life while being cared for lovingly in her home by her adoring children. We already miss you terribly mom but we are thankful you are free from the distress and confusion of this terrible disease. We pray you were greeted at Heaven’s Gate by your parents and your two sisters you loved so much. We will miss you until we meet again. With love from your beloved family. Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor St. W., at Windermere, east of Jane subway from 6-8 p.m. Sunday, July 15th.
