So sorry to hear of Jane's passing. She so enjoyed her few days here in Ottawa two years ago for my 75th and it was a pleasure to reconnect. She used to visit us in Paris when she came to buy lingerie for Eatons.
Jane and I met in 1981when we both lived on Upper Canada Drive in Willowdale, Ontario. We immediately became fast friends. With so much in common, our friendship continued through relocations – mine and hers, changes in marital status – hers. Jane and I visited back and forth through the years sharing old memories and new experiences. Our friendship lives on in my heart but how I shall miss her presence in my life.
So sad to hear of the passing of Jane. I knew both her and Walter from visiting Lakefront Mfg. from 2000 to its closing. I enjoyed each visit that I had with them over the years.
My deepest sympathies to her family and close friends. She was a special person

I am so sorry to hear of Jane's death. She always took time to catch up with me at Trinity College events. She was a stalwart supporter of the St. Hilda's College Alumnae Association and the Friends of the Library. Her friendly smile will be missed.
Jane was a fellow St. Hildian and a good friend for over 50 years. I always enjoyed seeing her over the years - at Trinity reunions, at informal lunches with other classmates in downtown Toronto and 2 years ago for our trip to mutual friend Jinny's birthday in Ottawa. She was a kind and considerate person with a sense of style and flare for fashion. She will be sorely missed.
