FONDLY REMEMBERED AS THE GRIZZ

Passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his family on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at the age of 86. Beloved husband of Elsie for 67 years. Loving father of Barbara Sheridan, Susan Meckiffe and Paul Sheridan. Proud Grandpa of Ashley and Fraser. Predeceased by his brother Donald and his sister Teresa Daly. He will be greatly missed by all his extended family and friends. James was a firefighter with Etobicoke for 31 years. After retiring he loved to travel, volunteer, coach hockey, spend time with his family and watch his Toronto Maple Leafs.
Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Peel Chapel, 2180 Hurontario St., Mississauga (Hwy 10 N of QEW) on Friday from 2-4 & 6-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at 1 p.m. Cremation to follow. For those who wish donations may be made to the CNIB or Epilepsy Foundation. Online condolences can be made through www.turnerporter.ca
