A time to remember a great Uncle who made us laugh, listened and considered our views when we were growing up and included us at many cottage weekend getaways. A dedicated husband and Father and an entrepreneur who influenced me to pursue my own path. He drank room temperature beer and drove cool cars and he loved his golf. Looking forward to celebrating his life. Lots of love Uncle Shay.
Sincerest condolences on the passing of your dear dad Shay. I was so sorry to hear of his illness and sudden passing. I have very fond memories of a very happy man - always smiling and ready for good chat and a friendly drink. My parents were very fond of your mom and dad and have very many memories of those early years in Canada when they relied so much on the Irish clan of families for support and friendship. And of course - those years spent together on Whitestone Lake were special.
Hoping to see you on Tuesday night. Again - my sincerest condolences on the passing of your dear dad.
I first met Jim Broe in 1973 when he fitted me with contact lenses. I will never forget his patience and professional care. At 18 years of age, this was the first time I could see without eyeglasses and I was so overwhelmed and began to cry for joy. He was so sweet and shared in the joy of that moment which I will never forget. I continued getting my contact lenses for several years from this truly lovely gentleman with true care and concern for his patients. He will be missed. Thank you Jim Broe!
My condolences to Geoff et al.
