James Neil "Jim" Woods

September 28, 1956 -  October 11, 2017

Peacefully, at home, with his family by his side, on Wednesday, October 11, 2017, at the age of 61. Beloved husband of Marie for 39 years. Devoted father of Stephen (Michael), Brian (Kristen) and Kevin (Kathrin). Loving brother of Doug (Linda), Peter (Christine), Nancy (Tina) and Lucy. Dear brother-in-law of Phillip (Bianca), Mark and Wes. Jim will be lovingly remembered by his extended family and friends.

Retired finance executive with Borealis Infrastructure and Cadillac Fairview Corp., he volunteered with the Bruce Trail, which he hiked from End to End. He was also an active member in The Probus Club of Mississauga South.

Friends may call at the Turner & Porter “Neweduk-Erin Mills” Chapel, 1981 Dundas St. W., Mississauga (just east of Erin Mills Pkwy) on Monday, October 16 from 5-8 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Christopher’s Catholic Church, 1171 Clarkson Rd. N., Mississauga, on Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at 11:00 a.m.

I am so sorry for your loss. I have so many great memories of Jim. Special occasions st your home, visits to the cottage and Florida. He was a good man taken far too soon. I am grieving with you at this very sad time.

Dear Marie and Family...my deepest condolences on Jim's passing...I only knew him through Probus where he was a valued and respected Club member. He was very active to the end in his role as Treasurer and led many hikes on Thursday mornings. He was a kind and friendly gentleman and always spoke proudly of his family...he will be greatly missed at our meetings...our prayers are with you...sincerely, Frank MacTaggart
