July 27, 1925 -  July 21, 2016

Peacefully, in his 91st year. Ready to join Evelyn (nee Filshie), his predeceased wife of 51 years. Born and raised in St. John's, Newfoundland, a Veteran of the RAF, from 1932 - 1942, and a Master Electrician at Ontario Hydro for 40 years. A devoted father to David (Laura), Doug (Lynn), Bruce (Janet predeceased), and Heather. Fondly known as the "Candy Man" - he was a devoted Grandfather to Brent, Lindsay (Steve), Derek (Mwamba), Heather, Rebecca, Taryn (Michael), Daniel, Michael, and Lauren. James was also blessed with four Great Grandchildren Devyn, David-Michael, Vincent, and Zane.

My thoughts and condolences go out to the Chancey Family, I have known Mr Chancey since I was a teenager, Many good times with him at 28 Rima ct that I will never forget.

He used to join us when Bruce would have partys in the Basement. I had many great conversations with him as he stood behind the Bar...
