It is with great sadness that we announce Jadwiga Jagodziński passed away at Humber River Hospital, with her husband by her side on Saturday March 14, 2026, at the age of 87.

Born in Sitaniec, Poland, she emigrated to Canada in 1964, first residing in Montreal where she met her husband and later settling in Toronto. She was the devoted and loving wife of Lech Jagodziński for 58 years. She was the beloved daughter of Bolesław and Karolina Altmajer. Predeceased by her siblings Barbara, Stefan, and Henryk. She will be missed by her sister Janina and her brothers Wacław and Józef. She was a dear aunt to Eugene, Irene, Małgorzata, Jan, Lawrence, Yolanda, Renata and their children. Jadwiga is lovingly remembered and forever missed by Lech, many family and friends in Canada and Poland.
