At Amica Peel Village, Brampton on Monday, April 4, 2022 after a valiant struggle with cancer and dementia in her 86th year. Retired from Trow Consulting Engineers (now EXP). Predeceased by her husband Duncan, partner Les Hackett, mother Beatrice, sister Doreen, and mother in law Edna. Survived by her sons Douglas (Cathy) and David, and her cherished grandchildren Jamie, Sean, and Lindsay. She will be greatly missed by extended family and friends. An avid nature lover especially of butterflies and clouds. She loved line dancing, live music and travelling. She had a zest for life and a great love for her family. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at the Turner & Porter Peel Chapel, 2180 Hurontario St., Mississauga (Hwy 10, N of QEW) on Monday, April 18 from 2-4 and 7-9. A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at 11 am at Walton United Church, (2489 Lakeshore Rd. W., Oakville) with Reverend Jim Gill presiding.
