After a brief illness, Ivan passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 4, 2025. Survived by his wife Stella, and children Mike, Cheryl, Nancy (Todd), Rob, Kathryn (Tom), Brennan, and nine grandchildren and one greatgrandchild. Predeceased by his parents Fred Urquhart and Hazel Urquhart, sister Hazel Urquhart, and brothers Lewis Urquhart, Russell Urquhart and Glen Urquhart. Ivan enjoyed watching and playing sports and was a keen skier and tennis player and loved his weekly touch football games, which he still participated in up until a few years ago. A proud Swansea boy, Ivan spent many happy hours reminiscing about his childhood growing up in Swansea, and raising his first three children there. A kind thank you goes out to the staff at Sunset Manor in Collingwood. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor St. W., Toronto on Friday, January 24, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. Interment at Park Lawn Cemetery to follow.
