Sending our condolences to all the family at this very difficult time. I remember meeting and talking with Ivan at the children’s school when they were much younger and when he and Grandma would be taking care of Anderson and Adelaide. He was always friendly, smiling and I could see the great love he had for his grandchildren! It was truly a beautiful bond they had , very similar to the bond my kids had with their late Grandfather. May you always cherish the time you had together as a family and remember the best days you celebrated together! May his memory be eternal.
Our sincerest condolences on John’s passing. He was a great neighbour and valued friend. We will miss him greatly.
We are truly sorry for your loss. John always greeted us with a warm smile, and delightful conversation. He will be missed by all us on Amesbury Ave. He is in God’s hands now, may he Rest In Peace.
Posljednji tuzni pozdrav dragom barba Ivu, bratu I Barbi. I'd sestre Karmele Marije I Ane.
Dear friend ,
If God have asked us for permission to take you away from your family, your friends, your Croatian community - we would not let Him take you. But He didn't ask. He took you very suddenly, leaving everyone is disbelieve.
You will be missed very much. You will be missed at the church, at our Croatian dinner-dances, at any kind of Croatian gathering. You enjoyed time spent with your Croatian people and people loved you back! Perhaps there is place in heaven, waiting for you, where Croatians get together for a coffee or dinner dance with our Croatian music, Croatians picnics, "bocanje".... something similar to Father Camber Park, where we will all meet again.
Till then our friend you will be remembered as a very kind man, gentleman, very dear friend, man who enjoyed life, who loved his family unconditionally , who enjoyed every minute with love of your life - your beautiful wife Marica! And you will be remembered for your traveling, especially every year to your homeland Croatia, where your home, home which you build is standing strong and very proud of you!
It hurts to bid you goodbye, because you were very special man, you were Gospodin!
Rest in Piece dear friend - till we meet again with blessings from Ankica and Kresimir Sabnolic.
