Beloved wife of the late Georges Etienne Desrochers. Born April 12, 1917 in Dornoch, Scotland and died November 27, 2017 peacefully with family by her side. Much loved Mom to Gloria Blanche (Albert) and Diane Birch (the late Terrence). Dear Nana to Wendy Tolmie, Gregory Blanche (Annmarie), Stephen Blanche (Kerry), Christopher Blanche (Wendy). Great Nana to Jennifer, Justin (Caitlin), Brandon, Brittany, Trevor and Blake .,.Christine,, Missed by dear friend Deirdre and friend and helper Ted. Predeceased by her Sisters Marjorie, Helen, Eva and Brother Donald. She also lived to see her great great grandchild Lincoln. The family would also like to thank the caring staff at Streestville Care Community and Dr. Philbrook. Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Peel Chapel, 2180 Hurontario St., Mississauga, on Thursday, November 30 from 6-9 p.m. and Friday December 1, from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at Turner & Porter Funeral “Peel” Chapel, 2180 Hurontario St., Mississauga, (Hwy 10, N. of QEW) on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at 11 a.m. Interment Glen Oaks Cemetery. The last of the "Great McAngus Ladies" we who were raised by them are so blessed, they were excellent role models, never a harsh word and always taught us to "Take the high road" they are missed but never forgotten.
