It is with deep sadness but with gratitude for a life well lived that the family of Irene Williamson announces her death on Saturday, April 17, 2021. Irene passed peacefully at Sunrise of Mississauga at the age of 101. Beloved wife of the late Jim. Loving mother of Lynne Kee and her husband Philip, and Sharon Wain and her husband Milford. Cherished grandmother to Adam (Renee), Lindsay (Kevin), and Tyler (Ruth). Proud great grandmother to Matthew, Nicholas, Cassandra and Micah. Dear sister of the late Dean (Nancy). She had a remarkable combination of strength and kindness that touched all who knew her. We will always remember her devotion to our family and her never-ending love for her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Our sincere thanks to her loving family at Sunrise who took care of her with such kindness and compassion.
Our memories of you will always bring smiles to warm our hearts. Rest now, you have lived well and your spirit lives on in all of us. As an expression of sympathy donations may be made in Irene’s name to the Heart & Stoke Foundation or to The Kidney Foundation of Canada. Due to the present restrictions a private family service will be held.
