Passed away on Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at age 66 years. Devoted partner of Brian Hayashi. Loving mother of Mandi (Greg) Brotherton and Jamie (Crystal) Hughes. Cherished grandma of Rachel, Matthew, Abigail and Paige. Daughter of Alicia (Joe) Podkowa. Sister of Oksana "Sue" (Ron) Baker and Leon "Carlos" Nekrotiuk.

Ill always remember Irene as the funniest and toughest woman I’ve ever worked with. I had the pleasure of working with Irene at both Easton’s and Sears for over 7 Years. She was one of a kind with a great heart, sarcastic and funny as can be. I hope you remember the good times you had with her. My deepest condolences to your family in this difficult time.

All the guys still hold Irene as the nicest funniest lady we had known in the past 30 years as Westwood.
Many of them have moved on but all that have been notified were saddened by her passing.

I am sure she was well loved by all family and friends.
