Passed away peacefully at Belmont House on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at age 91 years. Irene was born on March 13, 1926 in Wojcice, Poland. Beloved wife of the late Maksymilian. Loving mother of Christine (Brian) Sellars and Diane (Mark Tojicic). Cherished grandmother of Julia, Madalen and Maximilian. The family would like to thank the staff at Belmont House for their care and compassion during the past 6 ½ years. Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor St. W. (East of the Jane subway) on Monday from 2 – 4 and 6 - 8 PM. Funeral Service will be held at St. Pius X Roman Catholic Church, 2305 Bloor Street West on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at 10 AM. Interment Park Lawn Cemetery. If friends so desire memorial donations may be made to Belmont House or to the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul.
