In Celebration of

Ippolito Ferraro

August 12, 1929 -  January 5, 2023

It is with great sadness that we lay to rest our father Ippolito Ferraro.

He passed away at Credit Valley hospital at the age of 93.

Widowed by his wife Maria of 48 years.

Loving father and father in-law of Anna (John), Rose (Dino) and Elisa.

Adored grandfather of John Paul, Cristina and Nicholas and loving son of Salvatore (deceased) and Marietta (deceased)

He moved to Canada in 1953 from from a small town in Cosenza Italy called Pietrafitta.
Ippolito was one of the first of his family to settle down in Canada. He made a modest living but he was always rich in love for his family.

Ippolito worked at the Trillium hospital for 25 years in housekeeping. His passion was his vegetable garden and his family.
His legacy will live on and he will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

In Lieu of flowers, donations are greatly appreciated to the heart and stroke foundation and Alzheimer’s society of Canada.

Dear Zio Ippolito you always had a big smile and a warm hug. David the kids and I really enjoyed our visits with you at the Varga villa and when we would see you at Rose and Dino’s too. One fond memory was when mom was at Sauble and we came to visit you at the varga Villa. You were both so happy and shared a nice day together. We also had a red cardinal come to visit. We have a picture of that day, and I will cherish it always, we love you we miss you may you rest in it in eternal peace.
Love, Trisa, Daniel, Vanessa, and Kevin
