It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ignac Zupanic on Monday March 09, 2026, at the age of 96.

Survived by his beloved wife Marica Zupanic. Loving father of Marija (Anton), Katica (Drago) and Jadranka (Frank).

Cherished grandfather of Kristian (beloved Tamara), Julian (Kimberley), Daniel (Lisa), Jeremy, Karlo (Iva) and Tomislav. Proud great grandfather to Emma, Luka, Dario, Mila, and Ella.

He will forever be remembered with love and admiration by all his family here in Canada, Croatia, and Germany.

Family and friends may call at Turner & Porter Peel Chapel, 2180 Hurontario Street in Mississauga, on Sunday March 15, 2026, from 3 to 6 p.m. Funeral Mass to be held at Church of the Croatian Martyrs Parish, 4605 Mississauga Road, Mississauga on Monday March 16, 2026, at 11:30 a.m. Interment (burial) to follow at Assumption Catholic Cemetery, 6933 Tomken Road, Mississauga.
