Hyacinth Martin
August 18, 1934 - August 11, 2015
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, and mother, Hyacinth Agatha Martin on August 11, 2015. Hyacinth passed away peacefully at Trillium Health Partners, Mississauga Hospital. Hyacinth is survived by her loving husband of 53 years Emmanuel (Manny); her son Brian; her daughters Sharla (John Heaton) and Thérèse; her sister Monica Wells; her brothers, Alexander (Jessica) Riley and Rupert Wells as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her sister-in-law Violet Wells.
The family would like to extend their thanks to the doctors and nursing staff at the Trillium Health Partners, Mississauga Hospital, We Care Home Health Service and other care agencies. A special thanks to Dr. Wycliffe Baird and Dr. C. Devaraj.
Hyacinth is resting at Turner and Porter Funeral Home (2180 Hurontario St, Mississauga, ON L5B 1M8) with visitation Tuesday, August 18th from 6:00-9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 19th at St. Catherine’s of Siena R. C. Church (2340 Hurontario St, Mississauga, ON L5B 1N1) at 9:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Ontario.
