Howard had a great smile that made you feel good talking with him.
We will miss him.

It is with very fond memories that I recall Howard, as Senior Manager, Planning & Forecasting reporting to me in my role as Vice President Planning & Reporting, TD Canada Trust. Howard was a very capable manager, who had a positive relationship with his staff and other businesses of the Bank and the corporate area. Howard was instrumental to the successful integration of TD and Canada Trust planning and forecasting activities, which was a very significant and challenging accomplishment. I was pleased to see that his obituary shows Howard with a broad smile on his face-somewhat devilish- which I always remember.
I remember Howard well for his wry humour on our many birdwatching trips. Howard was member of my birding group and birdwatching class for over 15 years. He truly enjoyed seeing new species of birds and taking pictures of them. He accompanied me on many trips to the Caribbean, Costa Rica, and all over Ontario seeking new taxa to fill the list of birds. Howard was a gentleman, a true champion of fairness, and a keen observer of nature. May he Rest In Peace.
My condolences to Mary and the whole family. May happy memories of Howard give you strength and courage. My sympathy....... Luc Fazio
