Passed away on Friday, June 2, 2017 in his 94th year in Toronto. Beloved husband of Rose (nee Bonello) for 66 years; loving father of Herbert, Moira (Tom Daley), Dorothy, Paul (Valerie Cassar), Edwin (Tina Strucel), Ines (John Vacarro), and Monica (Mike Tonna) and caring grandfather to Matthew (Diana Chui), Jonathan, Kathryn, Jocelyn, Christian, Ashlyn, Andrew, Steven, Anthony, Josef, Vincent, Victoria, and Danielle and great grandfather to Chelsea. Son of the late Captain Herbert William Micallef and Ines Fleri Soler, Attard, Malta; brother to Marie and the late Lillian, Stephen, Leslie, Maurice, Doris, Edwin, Vivian, George, Roland, Tony. The family will receive friends at Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel, (2357 Bloor St W, Toronto) on Monday, June 5 from 6-9 p.m. A Mass of Celebration will be held at St. Paul the Apostle Church, 3224 Dundas St W, Toronto, on Tuesday, June 6 at 9:15 a.m. Interment -Assumption Cemetery.
