Hendrik "Hank" Jansen

After a short illness, Hank passed away peacefully at Trillium hospital. Born in Indonesia and schooled in Holland he started a long career as a Mining Engineer. He travelled extensively for work and pleasure but ultimately settled in Canada in 1976. He is survived by his wife of 54 years Tine, his son Maarten (Marcia), his daughter Liesbet (Dave) and his grandchildren Owen, Abby, Lukas and Jake.

Following Hank’s wishes, there will be no funeral but only a private family celebration of his life. In lieu of flowers, any donations may be made to the Mississauga hospital for their wonderful care over the last days of his life.
