In Celebration of

Helena Sitarski

April 23, 1931 -  February 12, 2020

Our beloved mother Helena Sitarski (Ignatowicz) passed away peacefully on February 12th, 2020. Our mothers' greatest gift was her family. She was a loving and devoted wife to Walter for 68 years.

Helen was a nurturing and caring mother to her four daughters Christine (Ray), Teresa (Mike), Victoria (Brian), Donna (Steve).

She was a very proud Grandmother to her 11 grandchildren Krystal, Melissa, Jennifer, Derek, Desiree, Sarah, Lucas, Dylan, Cian, Rebecca, Justin, and her one great grandson Sam.

Helen deeply loved all her nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by all.

She is predeceased by her mother Tekla, father Michael and her brothers and sisters Annette, Mary, Anne, John, Mike, Joseph, Martin and Martin.

Helen was known for her kind and generous heart. Many have enjoyed her delicious cooking and baking all through the years. Having Helen as a mother and grandmother was one of our greatest joys and blessings. There was always an overflowing pot of love and encouragement to guide us on our way.

Eternally a shoulder to lean on, an ear to listen to you and warm arms to comfort you.

In Helen's memory, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to Trillium Health Partners Foundation, supporting the Stroke Unit at Mississauga Hospital. Donate at trilliumgiving.ca/memory, by phone at (905) 848-7575 or by mail to Trillium Health Partners Foundation.

Our family sincerely thanks all the staff of Trillium Health Partners Mississauga site and Humber RCC for all their care and support.

I will remember Aunt Helen fondly. She was always kind and welcoming, having a good word for all. My thoughts go out to you as you grieve her. Noone gets us quite like our Moms, and this is a day by day process.

Hugs,

Karla
