Peacefully, on Thursday, February 23, 2017, at Toronto Grace Hospital, at the age of 89. Beloved wife of the late Zygmunt for 50 years. Loving mother of Andrzej (Andy) and his wife Helena, and Barbara and her husband Mark Desmond. Much loved Babcia of Michael (Mary), Lucas and Thomas. Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor St. W., at Windermere, east of the Jane Subway, on Sunday from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Casimir’s Catholic Church, 156 Roncesvalles Ave., on Monday, February 27, 2017 at 10:15 a.m. Interment Park Lawn Cemetery. For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. Luncheon reception to follow internment on Monday at La Veranda Osteria restaurant located at 946 Royal York Road (at Bloor, across from Royal York subway...plenty of parking)

We are so sorry for your loss. I will always have fond memories of Mrs. Lomnicki working in Barb's gardens. It was such a pleasure to exchange a few pleasantries over the fence, and so inspiring to witness her incredible energy and interest. Barb, Mark, Lucas and Thomas, we are thinking of you, and hoping that your wonderful memories will help you through this difficult time.
