Passed away peacefully Tuesday, March 7, 2017 surrounded by her family at age 65. Cherished daughter of Americo and Maria Augusta Gomes. Devoted wife of Armindo. Loving mother of Susie Dagraca (Gil), Nelia and Joel. Dear Avó of Ethan, Jaden and Elena Rose. Sister of the late Evangelina Roda (Alexandrino), Laureano Gomes (Celeste), Olinda Gomes (Manuel), late Alice Estrela (Armindo) and Natalia Gomes Roda. Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Peel Chapel, 2180 Hurontario St., Mississauga (Hwy 10 N of QEW) on Thursday from 6 – 9 p.m. and on Friday from 2 -4 & 6 – 9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at Ss. Salvador Do Mundo Catholic Church, 1212 Melton Drive, Mississauga on Saturday, March 11, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. Entombment to follow at Assumption Cemetery. My deepest condolences go out to Helen's family. I cannot express how I felt about Helen. She was the kindest person I knew, she always took care of me like family and I felt like she was my sister. She loved life and her family so much. The void and emptiness in my heart can't ever be replaced. Helen you are in a better place and not suffering any longer. I will continue to pray for your family and you will live on forever through them. Thank you for being the best friend I could ever have and everything you have done for me.
