SOUTHORN, Helen (nee Glen) ~
Passed away peacefully at Wellington Terrace Long Term Care Home, on Tuesday, August 14, 2018 surrounded by her loving children at the age of 95. Beloved wife of the late Roy. Cherished Mom of Lynda and Wayne Davenport, Gary and Jackie Southorn, Louanne and Tom Graham, Janice and Danny Veaudry. Loving Nanie of Jaime (Bryan), Lindsey (Dave), Blair (Katherine), Drew (Shawtelle), Megan (Michael) and the late Tobi. Proud Great-Nanie of Bella, Natalie, Malachi and Lochlan. Special Aunt to Debbie and Jack Lawrence and their family. Helen will be sadly missed by her sister, Mae Voyce, sister-in-law, Ruth Southorn, and by many nieces, nephews, and friends. We were truly blessed and enormously grateful to have this beautiful soul as our Mom. She will be missed but remembered and cherished forever. We are comforted knowing she will rest peacefully with Dad, the “love of her life”. Until we all meet again. Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Butler Chapel at 4933 Dundas St. W., (between Kipling & Islington Aves.) Etobicoke on Friday, August 17th from 6-9 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held at Royal York United Church, 851 Royal York Rd., on Saturday, August 18, 2018 at 1 p.m. For those who wish, donations may be made to Wellington Terrace Long Term Care Home or Children’s Wish Foundation.

Dear Lynda and family,
What a wonderful (and at times hard, funny, sad) journey you and your family have traveled with your mom since your dad's death (and before in your support for both of them). Your support and caring has enriched all of your lives. A wonderful life lived and a lifetime of memories to hold onto. Thinking of all of you.
