I send my condolences to you and to your family during this time of sorrow. The Bible gives a real hope with a promise that your loved one will soon come back to life in a peaceful paradise on the earth. (John 5:28, 29)
Helen and I met teaching at Erin Mills Senior school and quickly became fast friends. We soon involved our husbands, families and mutual friends. Helen was at the centre of our circle, always willing to welcome us into her home or to organize an activity or an outing for the group. We shared so many good times. It is hard to believe that her laughter has been silenced. Covid 19 did not allow us to visit her in her final illness but we thought of her and her family constantly. Our friendship of almost 40 years will remain a beautiful memory in our minds.
Our love and sympathy goes to Jack, her children, grand children and great grandchildren. They have lost a wonderful matriarch on earth but have gained an angel in heaven.
Rest In Peace, dear friend.
Helen touched everyone she met with her generosity, kindness, sense of humour and love of life. She was the matriarch of Dory Court as well as its heart beat. It was indeed an honour to have spent many great afternoons and evenings with her and Jack! My sincerest condolences to Jack and the entire extended family for the loss of such a wonderful individual.
Oh Jack - Paul and I are so sorry to hear about Helen. I am sure you are devastated to lose the love of your life and best friend.
Paul and I were talking about you and Helen just a few days ago - how wonderful you both looked at Jeremy’s funeral. (it was his 42nd birthday lasT week) It will be two years in July and we still miss him every minute of every day.
Our hearts are with you and the family . Please stay safe and be well.
Barb
