Helen Edythe MacMillan

April 27, 1931 -  November 15, 2018

MacMillan, Helen Edythe (nee Cain), age 87, passed away with family by her side on November 15th, 2018 at the Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital. Helen was born April 27th, 1931 in Montreal. Predeceased by the love of her life James G. MacMillan. Survived by her sons Gordon (Deborah), Bruce (Ruthann), David (Kathy) and daughter Karen (Greg) and eight grandchildren, Ryan, Alyssa, Christopher, Erin, Ben, Thomas, Owen, and Devin.
Helen was a loving, caring and generous mother and grandmother. A graduate of Strathcona High School in Montreal, Helen was captain of her high school basketball, volleyball and badminton teams. Along with her husband James, she was a member of Clarkson Road Presbyterian Church. Helen dedicated her life to her family. She was immensely proud of all of her children’s and grandchildren’s accomplishments. Helen will be dearly missed by family and those that knew her.
Cremation has taken place. A private memorial service will take place in Spring of 2019.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Alzheimers Society of Canada (Alzheimer.ca).
