Robert,
I was deeply saddened to hear of the passing of your beloved mother.
I knew she was gravely ill, but I was clinging to hope that she would miraculously get better.
Your Mom and I worked together for 20 years at Arrow and she was one of my best friends there...she came out to stay with my wife and I in Vancouver during Expo 86 for a week (when she was pregnant with you) and the three of us had a great time together laughing constantly day and night.
Your Mom had a hard life, but never let on, but the love she had for you (her pride and joy) made all her woes seem trivial.
Your Mom will continue to live on in your heart and I know she's smiling...when she spoke of you she was always smiling.
As you go through life continue to make her proud.
Warm Regards, Len Curry

My deepest condolences to the Rich family. I'll always remember Heather for her sense of humor. Many great memories of sales meetings and the fun and laughter that went along with them. She was a wonderful, wonderful girl.

I met Heather at the Arrow Company around 30 years ago. She didn't necessarily like me at first , but after a few weeks she realized I wasn't going away, so we became friends, and remained friends until the end. I considered her my Best Friend. I must admit, I was not necessarily a good influence. We always kidded if her Mom really knew what sort of trouble I was getting her daughter into, she wouldn't have allowed Heather to play with me. In my defence, she could have said no. Two weeks ago I got an e-mail from her wanting me to pick up some liquorice nibs, she had a craving, next time I visited. Of course I had to oblige, not only did I get her the nibs, but a whole selection of my favourite candy. Her other friends would make her all kinds healthy meals and drop them off, but she knew who to go to for her " fix". The good thing was, I got to share them with her , along with years of wonderful memories, some that can be told, and other's that are best kept a secret. Thanks for letting me be part of your life. Your friend, Cyn (LB) xo
