After a brief and hard fought battle with cancer, Heather passed peacefully on Thursday, September 28th in her 60th year. She was happiest in her garden in Cambridge or baking wonderful desserts for family get- togeathers. In recent years she was a loving caregiver to her parents. Etobicoke (between Kipling and Islington Aves.) on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at 7 p.m. Donations in Heather’s memory may be made to The Dorothy Ley Hospice. We are deeply saddened to learn of Heather's passing.
Besides being first cousins, Heather and I also shared the same birth day, September 12. Heather was 10 years to the day younger than me.
She was a wonderful woman.
Jo-Anne and I will be attending her funeral.

I am sorry to hear that Heather has passed on. I always enjoyed our conversations while we were both out caring for our gardens and in the last few years our talks about caring for our parents.
