Hayes Naya Kwabena, born November 25, 1997, passed away on November 17, 2025, surrounded by loved ones after a courageous battle with sarcoma, a rare and aggressive cancer.



Hayes grew up in a supportive community and graduated from Thornhill Secondary School, where he made many lasting friendships. He loved watching sports, playing basketball, and enjoying video games. His passion for sports carried into his career as a store manager at Lids, a job he truly loved.



Hayes was a member of Runnymede Presbyterian Church and cherished the church community as his second family. His kindness, warmth, and loyalty touched everyone around him.



He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by his family, friends, and all whose lives he brightened.
