It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, aunt and godmother on Saturday July 29, 2017, at the age of 90. Halina now joins her devoted husband, Wladek, who died in 1984. Our mother’s memory will be cherished forever by her son George, his wife Jana and their daughter Andrea, as well as her daughter Evelyn and her husband Frank. We will all miss her beautiful smile and her joyful spirit. A special thank you to the staff at Lakeshore Lodge for their compassionate care. Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor St. W., at Windermere, east of the Jane Subway, on Tuesday from 6 - 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Casimir’s Roman Catholic Church, 156 Roncesvalles Ave., Toronto, on Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at 10:15 a.m. Interment Sanctuary Park Cemetery.
