October 19, 1948 - August 27, 2025

Gyula Julius Fodor was born in Győr, Hungary, on October 19, 1948, and passed away at his home in Mississauga, Ontario, on August 27, 2025.

He was the son of Gyula Fodor and Margit Csizmadia and grew up in Hungary alongside his younger sister, Gizi Silvestri (née Fodor). In 1969, he relocated to Canada, where he built a meaningful life as a mechanical and electrical engineer, creating cherished memories and lasting connections.

On January 18, 1992, Gyula married the love of his life, Veronica Kaldy. He is survived by his beloved wife, Veronica, and their children Julianna, Julius, and Lilianna. He will always be lovingly remembered as Apú by his family, who will forever carry with them the love he shared.

I am sorry for your loss. I remember coming over in highschool and for Julianna's birthday parties. I always remember your dad there smiling and saying hello :) Thinking of you all <3
