September 28, 1933 - March 28, 2018

Peacefully at the Etobicoke General Hospital, on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at the age of 84 after a long, full and happy life. Beloved wife of the late Joseph Peter. Loving mother of Jeff (Anne), Kathy, Peter (Susan), Ellen (Mark). Adored by her 9 Grandchildren (G1-G9) Dayna, Nicole, Jenna, Adam, Jamie, Alexis, Jason, Rachel and Carley. Family and friends may call at the Turner & Porter Butler Chapel, 4933 Dundas St. W. (between Kipling and Islington), on Monday from 6-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at 11 a.m. If desired, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or Parkinson Canada.

My sincere sympathies to Jeff, Kathy, Peter, Ellen and their spouses and children. I have so many fond memories in high school and since with Gwen. She always opened her house to us and made us feel welcome. I was so glad to be able to visit with her at Kipling Acres last summer when I visited Toronto. Much love to all.

Hugs to the Dello Family (Jeff, Kathy, Peter, Ellen) and their spouses and children on the loss of their Mum, Mother-in-Law and Nana. I have so many wonderful memories of growing up in and around the Dello's home, cottage or condo. Gwen's quiet soft spoken manner and calmness and the gentle headshake and quiet chuckle when someone said or did something she thought was a little "out there" will be greatly missed. Gwen and Joe, welcomed all the friends in to their home and were engaging, open and sharing of love, conversation, and joy of life. I know that Gwen and Joe are now reunited and that gives some comfort in this difficult time. Much love to all. Michele (Meo) Hand Stevens and family.
