Graham had to be the best ‘Introducer’ you could ever have as a friend. I first met Graham doing a part time job in Tesco’s in 1982 and we kept in touch ever since. He introduced me to his group of close friends and was always so kind, never once losing it amongst us group of late teenagers. I have so much to thank him for as without him ‘matchmaking’ I wouldn’t be married to Su for 33 years. A Saturday night back then always included Graham (mostly because he didn’t have a car) and a trip to one of many locals for a beer or two! After Graham and Mel’s move to Canada we still kept in touch and saw each other on those odd occasions when I was passing through Canada or he was back in the UK. Graham was good at keeping in touch. Lately we would video chat on WhatsApp on the occasional weekend and I’d pull his leg about those Canoe paddles and of course he just laughed it off. I thought we might grow old together and go on one of those camping trips he loved but now will do that in his memory. So from Su and I from the bottom of our hearts we will miss you terribly.
Deep condolences to Flitt family on there loss.
Speechless.
I remember when I first met Graham and Melanie at kindergym, at Keele P.S.; our daughters were both named Emma. And then arrived 2 more children in each family.
I will remember learning how to camp with Melanie and Graham, and our 6 children, on Grand Manan Island. I am surprised and saddened with your loss, and I can feel how painful it is.
With heavy hearts,
Jane, Emma, Isaac and Errol
Gone too soon. Im glad Graham had a wonderful life well spent with his beloved family and friends.
