I have known Gord since 1984. Worked beside him as a sales rep and then as his manager. Gord was one of the most honest and hard working gentleman I have encountered. His strength of direction in his life with family, church and profession never waivered. A rare individual who will be missed by his family, friends, customers and piers. We have been blessed to have had Gordon Venner in our lives.
Our beloved condolences to Marian, Ariel and Andrew. We are thinking of you all, as well as to all the Venner family at this time. Gord is now at peace with the Lord. Our prayers and thoughts are with all of you. He was a wonderful man full of life. May all your wonderful memories of Gord bring you peace and comfort now and forever. God Bless all of you.
Love,
Tina, Andrea & Ashley Morrison

May the comfort of the Lord be your strength. May your memories of precious times with Gord bring smiles and laughter as you all share about his life.
I will remember him in the prayer room as we continue to pray for future Christmas and Easter productions at Church on the Queensway..
Gord was and is a warm and welcoming soul. Our residence in Calgary since 1985 made it a challenge to be as close as we could have been but his life has touched us despite that. One of my fondest memories of Gord was seeing him compete at one particular flying disc competition on the Toronto Islands. I was glad to see him compete and fit right in as part of an international community of disc enthusiasts and I appreciate that he shared that with my wife, his sister, Sheila and I. Sheila has expressed her love for Gord to me many times over the years and she I know misses him dearly.
Gord always had a smile and a warm welcome whenever we had the chance to meet over the years. He will be missed in this life but those of us who share his faith can look forward to meeting him once more and experiencing his welcome yet again.
My love and thoughts go out to Marian, Ariel and Andrew and to all those others who share in the grief of Gord's passing.
